It focuses on core strength, breath, precision of movement, and correct alignment. Pilates classes can be taken either 1:1 or as a duet and are led by Katie Donnelly, Maria Dieser, Erin Donohue and Veronique Caubel. Pilates can be practiced on “the” mat, Spine Corrector and on equipment.
The Pilates equipment (Reformer, Tower, Chair, Ped-i-pul) employs spring-based resistance to create muscular strength and tone without building bulk.
